The solution
The App Assessment helps organisations understand the health, usage, and future requirements of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 (D365) applications. The assessment identifies which apps should be enhanced, redeveloped, retired, or migrated, while ensuring the surrounding environment and governance can support them effectively.
What you get delivered
You will receive a roadmap highlighting which applications to retain, improve, or retire, with prioritised recommendations, indicative timelines, and estimates for redevelopment or migration. The report also outlines key improvements to the environment and governance needed to support your application portfolio.
Enablers from you
- A list of applications, with nominated contacts and usage information.
- Power Platform Admin Center access or support.
- Stakeholder availability to confirm business needs and criticality.
Activities
During this engagement, the Factor team will:
- Review each application for usage, performance, business criticality, integrations, and customisations.
- Identify apps to archive, consolidate, redevelop, or upgrade, with estimated effort.
- Assess licensing, migration, and training requirements linked to application changes.
- Complete a high-level review of the environment, governance, and security to ensure apps are well supported.
- Use agile delivery practices with transparent progress tracking and regular stakeholder engagement.
