The Timesheet app is an intuitive application accessible on any device. The central dashboard allows users to submit a new timesheet each week including any registered projects. To register and manage a project, admins can go to Project centre located in the dashboard. Past and current timesheets can be viewed and edited via “View Timesheets” button. While the “Admin Centre” allows admins to approve or reject relevant timesheets.

Our solution utilises Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint as our core. Hosted in your tenant it provides easy to use functionality and integrated security, utilising Azure Identity Management for single sign-in. How do you track working hours?

Submit a timesheet

Team members must choose the week their filing a timesheet for. Within that week, they can indicate how many hours per day they spend on certain projects. New project lines can be added by the user. The app automatically calculates hour many hours per week is spent on each project. The timesheet can either be saved or submitted for approval.

Reviewing timesheets

In the backend, admins can approve or reject timesheets. If they were to reject a timesheet, the app prompts them to explain, so that the team member who submitted that timesheet can review and amend it.

Managing timesheets + projects

Team members can view their submitted timesheets under the “View timesheets” button where they can update and review status of current and past time sheets. Projects can also be managed under “Project Centre” where it’s easy to add or delete projects available for billing.
