The Data Breach app has an easy-to-use central dashboard that allows all staff members across departments to report incidents that could compromise the organisation’s digital security. Through the portal, team members can file a new report, prompting them to include important and relevant details about the breach. They can also see past and existing reports and check on their status. Lastly, they’re able to view the policy regarding data breaches.
Our solution utilises Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint as our core. Hosted in your tenant it provides easy to use functionality and integrated security, utilising Azure Identity Management for single sign-in. There's been a data breach, now what?
Submit a report
Team members can easily submit a data breach report. They’re provided a section to elaborate on the incident and the personal information involved.
Resolution tracked and managed
When a report is submitted, the app automatically alerts relevant parties that can action, delegate or follow up these reports. If there’s a gap in information, then the responding party can follow up for clarity. All the while, the person who filed the report can keep track of its status under “reports”
Outcome + record keeping
The reporter will automatically be notified if the data breach has been resolved. The interactions and process for resolution is recorded and stored for future reference. Due to the nature of data breaches, rules and regulations may change from time to time so your team members can keep up-to-date on the latest happenings under the “view policy” tab.
